One of the largest purchasers of organic ingredients in the personal care industry. 90% of our essential oils are certified organic—that’s 35 tons purchased annually, and 89% of our raw herbal ingredients are certified organic. - Shampoo bottles made with a minimum of 80% post-consumer recycled content, are made from recycled milk bottles, and can be recycled after use.
- Over 2 million dollars raised by the Aveda network in 2007 for Earth Month, going to clean water products worlwide.
- 100% of the electrical usage at Aveda’s corporate office, distribution centre and primary manufacturing facility in Blaine, Minnesota, USA, is now offset by its wind energy purchase.
